請問 15/11 開始養缸，現時的 pH 8.1, NO3 0.1mg/L, 可開始加魚嗎?

It is not necessary to check NO3 at the first stage, but you need to check NO2 (not only pH), it is very harmful to fishes. In the first stage of running a new tank, you need to check NO2 and pH in alternate day. If it is possible, I would suggest you to check them every day. Temperature is another important factor that would make your new fishes sick or kill them. Try your best to keep the temp. as stable as possible.

How many fishes you've now? Let me share my experience to u. My tank is 40". I bought two 1" clowns as test fishes on the 15th day of my new tank running. I kept them on the floating plastic box, which is a way more easier for me to observe them and feed them. I kept them in the box about 2 weeks, then release them. One baby died accidentally by falling into the sump. Then, I went to find two more to replace the dead one. However, I couldn't find two clowns with good condition at that time. Finally, I got two for the replacement after 10 days later. I separated these new members also. One more week later, I introduced two fire birds about 1.2"; kept them separately also and released them altogether on about 10 days later. I got my first angel on the third month of my tank. And now, two clowns and one fire bird are still existing. They are living in my tank over 20 months lu.

I talk so much to you just want to tell you that patience is another very important point to run a new tank. If you don't want to waste the lives and your money, just be patient. Good luck

現時只有一小棵海草及一隻小紅蟹，並未開始養魚。

何時才可開始養魚 ?

You can start to find your test fishes now. You can buy 2~3 fishes about 1.5" (better not bigger than 2"). When you choose your test fishes, you need to find some healthy ones. Try your best to observe your target fishes in more detail, if you've any suspect on their health or you find them any abnormal action, don't buy it. You can go to FS to find for your fishes few days later, but if you introduced some sick fishes into your tank, it not only brings the harmful bacteria back, but also reduce the rate of survival of your fishes. Since they already suffer from the illness, but still need to resist the pressure of the new environment.

加個氣動化氮較佳（約90蚊左右），另可添置珊瑚骨作魚隻藏身之所。
你稱作"啡色三間"，魚街會叫新娘。生物石在你魚缸現今的條件很難Keep得好，還是不要沾手為佳。

要限制飼養數目，暫時現有魚隻已經差不多夠玩。咸水魚不同淡水魚，無必要一對對買。抱歉，你對藍魔很大機會會打死當中一條，自已看著辦吧！

養咸水魚最重要的不是技術，是耐性，慢慢玩啦。

最新戰況：前幾天加了8 磅生物石, 現時兩條藍魔升天了, 到今天只有兩條小丒一小棵海草及一隻小紅蟹。

每星期加11合1菌及海水微量原素。pH 8.2, NO3 = 0.1.

請問是否有其他野要做? 要留意?

應否開始加skimmer? 幾時要換水?

should be NO2 ....... " 2 " lar

and pls take note that this did not mean that u can add many fish .
this is just mean that u had build the bacterial for 兩條小丒及一隻小紅蟹。
any new fish introduce to tank , they need to build more bacterial for the new fish .
ex: u had build 2 toilet( bacterial ) for 兩條小丒 ,
if u add 10 fish. that mean 12 fish share 2 toilet, 2/12=17% toilet for 1 fish . they will died

      so u have 2 toilet . than add 1 fish , 3 fish share 2 toilet still ok.(2/3=67%)
      2~3weeks later your tank have 3 toilets ( bacterial build for 3 fish ), u add 1 fish 3/4=75%.
      u must add fish slowly ..........

after few months, tank have 10 fish , so even add 3 fish together ,10/13=76% , this will not cause anyproblems

so pls wait and slowly add fish

if not u will repeat same problems " 全中了, cmtsui, 是衰心急. "
it is the time to train your " patience "

ps: of'coz u have to consider your tank size and how many fish can keep. not mean that u can add fish for ever

我試過每日落硝化菌水，每日10ml。係淡水缸時有效，咸水缸都有D幫助。我是用Dupla，不過貴D。聽講PSB都可以。

要等NO2回落變回黃色才完成n-cycle。

其他前輩唔好見笑！
