Do you've the test kits of pH, NO2 and you check them frequently? Since your tank is new, the water is not stable. If you found your fishes have some strange action, just check these parameters first; if the result is ok, the problem may be on your own fishes or there is some other harmful material in your tank. If the problem is caused by the latter one, then, a water change is helpful. The % and frequency of water change is depended on the situation, hard to say a fixed figure. My record is taking 15% water change everyday continuously in about 20 days. "I just got another new young black percula, but it also scratches very often.
