16 于 2002-10-07 19:00      oh.. my tank is not too big, just 15". 32L water. and now using AA Skimmer just $35 I don't know is it enough or not. But it really produce more dirty and bad smell things.. -_- So do you think i need to buy the AZ-PO4 remover? Actually I did feed not too much. just 2 times per day and I feed piece by piece, make sure finished by the fish and then put another one. Any suggestion???

17 于 2002-10-07 19:21            Yup, Kenny is right that P = phosphorus, I nearly forgot all the CHEM la !! Phosphorus is 15 in the periodic table. It is a non-matal and white in color in solid form. The main point is that it will form acidic solution when mix with water. And phosphorus itself will also react with acidic solution to give an unwanted by-product. So that's why it will harmful to the reefs and fishes !! cyc 修改于 2002-10-07 19:28

19 于 2002-10-07 21:57            唔係AZ-PO4而係PO4-minus，但需要一有效的化氮器。 仲有一盒叫PO4-reducer bacteria based product 的粉狀菌，亦可助減細PO4。

However, you should beware that the small or weak fishes may not get enough food (can't compete with the big/strong ones). 養魚係一個贏贏的遊戲---a Win-Win game. You can win, I can win, all of us can win in the game at the same time. ^^
