康仔 養仙魚，養仙魚 文章: 3576 來自: 港島東區	于 2003-09-26 09:10        各位，個DIY硫黃珠NO3去除器咁短時間內既有此神奇功效既迷底終於解開了....原來因為讀數係錯既 . 事緣小弟之前用開Tetra隻滴裝NO3 tester, 但上個禮拜用完未買番，咪用番樽試紙囉(幾個月無用因覺得好難分D顏色)，試出黎係10ppm多少少...尋晚買番樽Tetra，一試發覺~~~妖，25ppm個格 再拿樽紙去亞爸個邊同佢果樽一齊試，證實我果樽. 錯報左結果比大家知真係唔好意思，soli, soli... P.S. 尋晚test過出水既PH，係7.6左右 (希望無錯拉) 我的爛相簿

于 2003-09-26 09:48      In the first 1-2 weeks, you may find the NO2 concentration from the water output increase like crazy, should be higher than 100 ppm. Starting from the third weeks, you would see both NO2 and NO3 decrease dramatically. It take a month for the bacteria population to be stabilized, after that, NO2 and NO3 would leave your tank FOREVER. Foreign public aquarium has been using this method for more than 10 years: http://mars.reefkeepers.net/USHomePage/USArticles/SulphurDenitrator.htm so it is a proven technology, and I have been using it for more than half year, all my fish and coral are more healthy than before due to water quality improvement. Thiobacillus denitrificans "Sulfur denitrification is based upon autotrophic denitrification by sulfur oxidizing bacteria such as Thiobacillus denitrificans and Thiomicrospira denitrificans. Under aerobic conditions these bacteria use oxygen as an electron acceptor, but under anoxic conditions they oxidize reduced sulfur (S2-, S2O32-, S0) to sulfate while reducing nitrate. In addition to nitrate, T. denitrificans can also use nitrite, NO or N2O as an electron acceptor ."

于 2003-09-26 17:19        你度d人真係好堅.... 雖然我學完都唔明....,但係起碼知道原來可以做個咁既野來Control NO3.. ***養魚學到好多野&識到好多人,可以減壓之餘又可以訓練自己既耐性***

于 2003-09-27 00:17        今晚接喉，用濾筒出水分义谷支JCOTTO 沙樽，結果係冇水出，谷唔到。真係要買隻乾濕泵嚟谷。 查吓資料，發現有隻AQUA MEDIC SP 3000 dosing pump ,呢隻泵係專門谷一滴滴出水用，唔知有冇魚友試過？香港有冇得買？ choinm 修改于 2003-09-27 00:24

于 2003-09-27 11:50        比我試到其中個JCOTTO沙樽送閘制漏水,立刻換左另一個就無事. 最衰買左成個星期,唔知換唔換得!? PP-HK 我post左相啦! 如果入左料後,唔左水就加個9mm轉4mm,用氣喉出水.
