Hello , LC 兄 , 新年快樂 !!

又有問題想請教下 LC 兄 , 我個缸最近有好多白色一隻隻 , 好細好細 , 細過粒芝麻 , 好似 d 蚤咁會跳 o既生物喺玻璃同水面出現 , 仲越生越多添

想問下果 d 係咩生物黎 ??
對個缸同 fish 同埋 d 水有冇害呢 ??
點解有呢 d 野出現 , 代表 d 水質有咩問題嗎 ??
如果有害 , 點樣可以消滅哂佢地呢 ??

想請問LC師兄:

FOT開缸是否一定要用魚?

小弟弟一次玩salt water tank, 想開24" FOT.

設備: 掛濾 (500L/H) + Eheim 2213, 造流pump (1300L/H), 氣pump, 少量沙 (做decoration, <1/2"沙底)

我唔想用魚開缸(因為我唔想魚魚做犧牲品, 蟹蝦較命硬) 但係聽過師兄講蟹蝦不宜在FOT生長....不知如何取捨....

勞煩指教一下. 有什麼地方要留意同改善. 謝謝.

唔好意思. 剛剛才看到你上一頁既post... 知道開缸可以用生物石...

小弟其實有讀post做功課, 只是從頭看, 看了2x pages only.

後面的未看.... 不要見怪...

講反正題, LC兄唔介意指點下我既缸有什麼設備要改善嗎?

生物石也是小弟另一大煩惱. 有聽師兄講生物石對新手來說難於打理. LC兄有什麼看法? 如果我有另一個缸可以用作隔離魚魚 (落藥用), 咁可以試下生物石嗎??

FOT開缸是否一定要用魚?
不是。用寄居蟹也不錯，方便日後容易移走。

設備: 掛濾 (500L/H) + Eheim 2213, 造流pump (1300L/H), 氣pump, 少量沙 (做decoration, <1/2"沙底)
遲些可考慮加化氮器，氣泵並非必需，可以不用。

一試無妨。
但是如有生物石，便不能養太多的魚。

thanks for your suggestions! but I don't quite understand about 'life rock'.

why can't have many fish when I have life rock? then if I use 'shan wu bone', then can have more fish??

The filtration efficiency of life rock is much lower than that of other mechanical devices. It cannot support as many fish as others.

A better way to provide adequate filtration is the installation of a protein skimmer. It can remove soluble organic matters before they turn into nitrate.
"Shan Wu bone", you mean coral sand? They can provide large surface area for the attachment of N-bacteria. They should have better filtration power than that of the life rocks.

Oh.. 我係指大舊的珊瑚骨 � 好似第47頁的師兄這樣的. 這樣的珊瑚骨都有過濾能力嗎?

剛剛從Maldives回來。。。

大舊的珊瑚骨可提供表面面積，讓n-bacteria生長，但不及約沙，珊瑚骨的主要功能還是裝飾。

我船潛了六天，看見Manta，但見不到鯨鯊。
還有釣魚，最大有3呎多長，重十多斤的Tuna。
