New freshwater tank

1 于 2015-12-13 12:44      Hi All. Sorry, cannot type chinese. I have a 125L tank, new to aquarium. I want to do fishless cycle (I think in chinese they say 'open' tank) and trying not to use bottle bacteria like Seachem Stability or Bio-Digest. Is there anyone or shop who can supply me (buy it or free) old filter sponge or media with freshwater bacteria? I just need a piece of filter sponge or something fresh from a established tank. I talk to 2 shops in Tung Choi street and shop owner look at me funny, say I need to use bottle artifical bacteria or just buy the fish and let it die. thanks in advance whoever can give me direction or help. I live in Tai Po.
