Hello Big Brothers

Has anyone used Aqua Gem T5HO Light before?

What is your experience? Please give some comments. Thanks!!

NB: I have the feeling that it is very BAD..

Hm... I think I should let everyone know that the brand AquaGem, from my experience, is NOT GOOD at all. It is simply UNSAFE.

When I tried to take out a T5HO light tube to change it, the holder holding the light tube simply got broken off while I turned the light tube.

The electrical wire inside the lamp, I believe, is not properly shielded from moisture, not to mention salt water.

In my case, my lamp simply got short circuited and made my safety fuse at home jumped all the all.

Please BEWARE if you want to buy this brand.

I have the feeling that they have changed its brand name to BCD, which I am not 100% sure. So please be very careful.

BCD is suck. My experience of BCD same as you with Aqua Gem. I bought a 24" T5x2 HO from 卡奇2months ago. When I changed one of the tube last week, the tube holder broke. The whole light was damaged!

i am sorry to hear that......at least no serious damage had been done before you need to replace it......

have been using DAZE for quite some time (7 months), quite like it. Very well designed, and seems very sturdy to me. U may like to check it out.
