You have a metal mounting ring inside the salt water!! Although it suppose to be stainess steel. But it can still rust! It can harm both fish and coral!!

The ALL-GLASS pine wood stand is designed to support 75, 90, 105 gallons tank.

As the tank itself, the bottom glass has a sticker saying that this glass is a tempered glass for strength, so I guess as they are designed for this setting, they are trouble-free.
