Oh... Start again...

Take 3... Tank is now now 3 months & 10 days...

Add 10L Bio-ring (PH + Mr. Aqua)
Clear half of the sand bed (may clear all, any suggestion?)
Waiting for a 2nd hand jetskim 100 for upgrade
Stop the NS O3 machine (may change to Sander, any suggestion?)
Add 1 more deal coral
Add more cotton

Take 3, Action !!
Tank now has 8 small 魔 for 3 days. Just add a 4" 藍紋 for testing last night.

Sherwing, some small suggestions -

1. Clear all the sand bed lar. The maintenance of the water condition and keeping the fishes in good shape will be much easier

2. H&S 110 will be a far better choice than Jetskim 100. It is even better than Jetskim 120 (I am using both). The difference between H&S110 & Jetskim 100 is just around $500. You will reckon that it is worth to pay a little bit more for H&S lar...but seldom see 2nd hand H&S...you may have to buy a brand new one instead.

Remember to add fish slowly, and quarantine every new fish in a QT for at least two week before allowing it to enter the main tank lar

I will utilize my coming vacations in early April to:
1. Clear sand bed, I see many of the expert FOT do not have sand bed, must be good for the fishes !!
2. H&S 110, no matter what, try to squeeze a place for the BIG skimmer !!

one question regarding QT, I had already setup a 18" QT for 1 week, but I'm worried about whether a 4" angel could survive in such a small tank.

Hi sherwing, if your QT's setup is similar to the one I posted earlier (with emple bio-rings already full of N-bacteria, it should be sufficient for 3" angel at most without changing water for the whole quarantine period. For 4" angels, you may need to supplement the bio filtration by chemicals such as NH3/NO2 absorbers to ensure the level of NH3/NO2 is within safe range during the process. I believe a tank of 24" would be safer for angel fishes of around 5"

Tks clownfish, I'll be more patience this time...

hi 康-san, thank you very much for your advices.

I tried very hard, but still could not find a place big enough for the H&S... But I can think of a solution. Re-build another sump !! However, that takes a lot of efforts and time, would you recommend me to change to jetskim in the mean time?
