64 于 2004-02-20 10:57      The white dots had gone away !!! Cheers !!! But the biological filtration / N-cycle had problem. NH3 & NO2 is as high as 1.0... After applying SB-05 daily, the NH3 is controlled at 0.25-0.5 and NO2 is at 0.5-1.0. Fishes were OK and waiting for the N-cycle to complete again.

65 于 2004-02-20 11:00           Forgot to mention. Loss control again and had added 4" Ma On & 4.5" Asfur (Ah Lai Ba) earlier this week. Will post the updated photo asap. Next target, Blue Powder & Blue Face next week (if N-cycle is restored).

66 于 2004-02-20 22:46      Applied SB-05 for the 3rd day. NH3 restore to 0-0.25. NO2 is still with 0.5-2.0... NO3 rises to 40. Also applied some Sera Nitrivec (1/2 dosage).

70 于 2004-02-21 08:43      congratulation u win the battle no:1 ( ICH ) but u lose the battle No:2 ( buy fish ) stop for 2 weeks first lah. give some time for your fish to fully recover from battle lar Ps : pls take note that mixe of chemical some time maybe dangerous i just loose my Blue-O . suspect cause by mixe chemical or........ unknown 喝了莫莫查查,唔再朦查查

71 于 2004-02-21 09:58      Nice tank and beautiful fish (especially the lion fish). However, as I mentioned before, what you need to improve your tank is to add a 油錐. My 2 cents. :-)

72 于 2004-02-23 18:48      thanks larry. fyi, i found out the body of the previous 油錐... it's dried... and fyi, i had bought a new one in the small tank already. guess 油錐 like to swim out as i had picked it up from the floor once already. wish it good luck !! clownfish, i lose battle 2 again... just bought a new blue powder tang. it's now in a "sei" and the 7-color tang is extremely aggressive towards that. However, i think blue powder should be stronger than 7-color in real combat... let's see after a few days when the powder starts to eat add oil, add oil to your blue face !!!

74 于 2004-02-24 10:31      sherwing, congratuation But as clownfish said, wait at least two weeks between adding new fishes lar...the sudden increase in nitrogenous waste will weaken the fish (though you may not notice and testers may also be unable to tell you so) and white spots will easily infect the fishes during this interim period lar 我的爛相簿
