Live rocks can create a more natural environment for the fish. And small creatures such as shrimps and crabs will hide themselves in the holes of the rocks, just like what they're doing in the sea. And if make larger holes with pieces of rocks, it also provides shelter for some timid fish or new introduced fish. I think ¤@¤ä¤ä¤Õ¬J¦a¤è¥X¥X¤J¤J are the tube-worms.
Changing water every 3 days maybe more than enough. I suggest do it on a weekly basis. You may also check the NH4/NO2 reading before and decide if water change is needed.
For my mini tank, I added 2 fire-birds last Saturday but found only 1 this morning, don't know if the other one has hided away or .....

Wow, your NO2/3 are really very high thus water change is really needed. Don't feed too much and add some nitryfying bacteria. It's no harm even overdose.
