Can you tell me more about your case ?

All my fish were dead becasue of white spots on last Sunday, (6 angelfish, some of them is kept over 2 months and very good condition)

Last time, I can save all my fish by using copper medicine, but this time - no use !

My case :
Only few white spots was appear in the day time, but during mid-night, whole fish body is fully covered by white spots, I cannot see any apace on the fish bosy is no white spots. After 2 days, all my fish were dead.

I don't know why the copper medicine cannot kill the white spots this time (the medicine I used can kill the white spots efficiency for several time before), I just want to share my experience to you that maybe some kind of white spots cannot be killed by copper medicine.

Anyone have this kind of experience before ? Any good suggestion to solve this problem ?

LeoTo, don't be so sad (cos I know you are very upset now, same as me), but please don't give up ! ( I will re-set my tank tomorrow and I hope your tank will be OK very soon)

my case same as your case......i have save one 仙,i put half water of tank,and half fresh water,then put heater to 30C,put some TDC!!!wait 30min,the second day no problem...but i have put copper in my tank,i think the copper kill that fish..........plz cheak your NO2 sin.if red.your ICH happen from NO2 red,you can no restart tank,mine that is because NO2 red son break out,(i change tank)hope i can help you~~~

My Tank's NO2 never increase, light blue color all the time.

I wonder how I can make sure that no any white spots remain in my tank ?
I have a crazy suggestion, can I increase the tempersure to 40 degree to kill all the white spots, is it work ? Will it kill the white spots absolutely ? Or it will also distroy the N-cycle ?

you no need to increase to 40C , 30C is ok,two days later can kill them la....but the save time is 7 days~~~

我醫白點的方法是一次過用兩種話唔會破壞硝化菌的藥，係用TDC加azoo治體內外細菌藥(溫度試過保持在25度都可以，白點在25度就兩三日消失，若去到30度，白點一日消失)，不過我唔敢將藥落在珊瑚缸中，而是將魚捉出來，試過用來浸化咸了的波子及孔雀都無事。每次都能把白點百分百的殺死。

這個方法亦用於兩條小丑身上，不過個效能未知。

我估如果是FOT的話，可以試一下這個方法。

Let me to do some advertisment sin. hehe...I personally found the KENT GARLIC XTREME is a good for preventing external diease such as ICH. Although, it is not a cure and unlike copper treatment which it can not help if your fish is already infected by ICH and not feeding. But since ICH is happening from time to time. Why we don't just prevent it by feeding the fishes daily instead of when troubles come and we spending more money and worries into the fishes.

This product has a poor direction for usage. But after trying for 6 months, all my old fishes are free of ICH and even with added new fish taht already carrying ICH on their fins. All other fish seems not affected at all. But again, there is always risk by adding new fish into the main tank (like me) without QT first.

The best result for using Garlic Xtreme must be added & soak into the food where the fish will eat it and believed the garlic smell will emitted from the fish body and cast away the unwanted ICH. After there is a saying "U are what u eat." and the ICH do not like the smell of garlic (Perhaps just like vampires).

The above test was conducted in my tank under the condition of my lazy management in water changes at 2 to 3 weeks in a 150L tank and I using a 11W UV light (9 months old already, not sure if it is still work).

Since my tank is a FOT, therefore, if u are trying your fish in a RT. I am not sure that it can save your fish and kill your corals since the reefs are very sensitive to any unnature substance. You never seems Garlic grows in the coral reef before? I never........Have fun.

O by the way, I am not working for this Kent company but just a fish lover like you living in HK.

I bought KENT GARLIC XTREME too, but I'm too lazy , I just add some kent garlic inot the tnak sometime (when I remember), is it the same as you add it to the food ? Cos the instructions shown that we can add some into the tank directly.

You mix the garlic with the food everytime ?

P.S. I bougfht a lot of thing for fish keeping, but I'm to lazy to fully utilize the product !

Hi Will,

This is what I said the usage direction of the Garlic Xtreme is bad. Although it said can be added into the water directly. But I never do so. I believed the concentration will be diluted into the whole tank of water and became useless. I feed my fish daily using garlic xtreme at least once a day by soak the frozen food into the garlic extreme and wait till it melted (the longer the better, I think) before feeding the fishes. It seems to be work that way.

After a period of time, I found any external diease can be cured. Since my fish always fighting and cause wounds on it's body. But no sight of ICH can be found and the fish healing fairly fast.

i only want to say, 升高水溫 in a tank(no fish) can kill all ICH,because 加速
白點蟲的生命週期,白點的幼蟲cannot find fish to live,they will die soon......you 無得罪me,no need 敬請見諒,you don't know what i meaning~~~升高水溫係絕對絕對唔能夠消滅白點, 只會加速白點蟲的生命週期, 銅藥亦係只會消滅白點的幼蟲! is right ga~
