I bought mine at ReefLixk a long time ago and cannot remember the price. But I am not impressed with it. I suspect it decomposes too fast. That's why I only feed it once a week, not as often as I like.

Why don't you try the new coralplankton and tell us what you think?

今日去過但揾唔到"漁樂場"，只係揾到"海珊瑚"。請問正確位置係邊

i am just curious to try (various product on the market)
say,
additives, fishfood and even salt
back to the coral food, i observe there is a product:
Marine de luxe from H&S
any comment on it???? (it is also non-frozen )

no matter it is a fot or rt , it is rather boring when the system becomes stable
(no fish lose / invertebrate lose)....nothing to buy

btw, when talking about a+b, there are:
1. kent marine a, b
2. two fishies c-balance
3. ??? b-ionic

i want to know where item 3 be available.
thanks for yr sharing

1. For plankton feeds, if I have a choice, I would choose freeze or frozen ones over the normal room temp. product. Because plankton is very nutrient rich, to prevent it from going bad in room temperature means using preservatives. I don't want that.

There is an old analysis by Inland Reef, I choose DT after reading it: http://www.inlandreef.com/Testing/Phytoanalysis.html

But I have also read an report by Dr. Rod Toonen (can't find it on the web now), he was using several brand of phytoplankton to feed larvae. I remember DT and Bioplankton out perform all the other brands by a large margin.

2. I use B-ionic and bought it from Aquatech in Wanchai. I haven't used the other 2 brands but I guess they are equally good. B-ionic (ESV) happens to be the one who invented 2 part additives.

頂！今天片輸咗，比人殺下馬來，即時失業！好，在office無嘢做，可以上網找工，同時看看最近很感興趣的餵珊瑚問題。

小弟玩Nano，開始嘗試用PL燈養SPS及蚌，希望可以盡力在第二方面彌補燈光的不足。

給我找到一篇用浮游餵SPS的研究，非常有point，希望各高手也看看，分享一下自已的經驗。

這研究想找出光及餵食對SPS(Stylophora pistillata, 貓爪？)的軟組織、光合作用和鈣化的影响。實驗是比較珊瑚在三種不同光度下(强中弱)，有餵浮游(每星期四次)與無餵的分別。

結果，有餵比無餵的鈣化速度高50-75%。五星期後，有餵的葉綠素a比無餵的高4-7倍，光合作用速度比無餵的高2-10倍。蛋白質(軟組織)含量也高很多。

最令我開心的是(Fig. 5)九星期後，弱光有餵比強光無餵的鈣化速度高！正！

希望我可以忍手唔好overfeed啦。
