You can try a small one first. Small fishes are more easier to accept food than the bigger ones comparatively.

thank you for your advice.

the 石美人 i buy is about 1~ 1.5 " ,
actualy past 2 days i already keep her into seperate container .
and try to give her dry food.
i notice that she " bite and drop " the 饵料 ???
i don't know whether she don't like it

or too big size for her.

so tonight i will try to buy " tetrabit " and make it small for her .
hope she will like it.

Tetrabits is a good fish feed. I would say I use it on 80% of all new fishes.
I have bought a new 1.25" Yellowbar Angelfish, she loves Tetrabits.
So normally I start with Tetrabits, then will add other fish food.

Here are few good fish feeds you can consider:
- Sera brine shrimp
- Hikari brine shrimp
- OTTO Marine
- OTTO Growth
- Tetra DoroMarin

Bi-color is NOT DIFFICULT TO KEEP, but DIFFICULT TO START to be specific.
My bi-color has been in the tank for 9 months; still going very strong.
The trick for keeping bi-color is quite simple (same as small Regal); as follows:-
- The tank needs a lot of rocks so she can hide and play. Lots of rocks make her comfortable and settle down.
- Attractive food, like Tetrabits
- No threat of other large angelfishes (so I most prefer to start anyfish in Quarantine Tank.

Tank condition
- No need for very strong current; dwarf angelfishes don't like strong current
- Oxygenate the water with an airpump or rain-bar. I personally prefer a rain bar to save an airpump.

Yes, the Regal has been changing and the pattern has changed since I bought her over 5 months ago.
New lines keep emerging from under the skin.
But the Regal has not grown in size, it stays the same size, I just love her very cute look.
Regal is a clever fish, always peeping out and sneak at you through hole. If you move, she may come out in the hope of gettting a meal.

Later let me stick a few more pictures of the Regal.

Additionally, if one is interested to buy a Regal, this is what I think:
- Anysize from 2" to 3" are best. Very rarely 1.5" is available but they are too weak and harder to start;
- Golden Regal generally is easiler to start than Pacific Regal; much because of the way the fishes are handled at shipment;
- My personally budget is $80 for a small Pacific Regal and below $300 for Golden Regal;
- Choose one that is active not dull borring look;
- If you have a quarantine tank, you can even choose one with broken fin; it recovers quickly. I would pay more attention to body shape and color.

HK Marine had this Regal on 9 Oct 2002, it is a good example of a good Regal with good color, fat and good shape

石美人成活率只有1%的机会的說法，這是包括從撈捕過程，中轉站處理的損折率…即是話在魚店售賣的可能已是祇剩其中的30%甚至更低，（我諗和野生鳥類貿易的生存率差不多）這亦是海水水族飼養為人垢病的原因…
不知道檳城的魚店的魚隻（石美人）從那裡進口，但在香港，我會避免選擇從菲律賓進口的，印尼的會比較理想（雖然可能同樣用藥，但後期處理較好），若痾白屎的就代表其內臟已受傷害，避之則吉！價錢方面兩者其實差不多。
另外，我在布吉見到的毛巾（regal）是印度洋型（即金毛巾），所以如果在檳城見到可能是一樣的類型。
另外，Clownfish你可不可以影D檳城的魚店相給我們開開眼界呢？請問檳城的魚店多不多本土出產的魚隻售賣呢？上次我只見到花羅漢！
除了海水魚，我亦對野生鬥魚非常著迷，尤其paroshromenus 屬的（袖珍鬥魚），這是馬來西亞盛產的品種，請問在檳城的魚店多不多看到呢？

until last night "she" start to take little dry food from the top of water surface.
i feel very happy that she become little bit more agreesive .:

i hope she will keep on improve.

鬥魚 is quite common in malaysia . but i don't know how many type ???
and is it same as what you want ?
normaly i notice the shop keep in the small bottle . one by one.
some shop may have 30 ~ to 40 bottle .
some shop may have 10 only.
almost all the fish shop have some
but except new fish shop ( they only selling 花羅漢 )
and such kind of fish shop is become the majority of malysia aquarium .
i will try to get some photo & price information for you.
