Problem with using copper in tank:

1. kills all marine organisms in LRs
2. kills snails, and all invertebraes
3. copper residue remains in substrate/rocks
for an indefinite time
4. long term usage can cause fish liver damage
5. can't convert the tank into a reef tank

If you intend to use this tank as your FOT,
it's no harm to use Cupramine, and it's a sure way to save your fish.
