I have checked the original fan and find the axis of the blade is not inline with the axis of motor. So the fan will vibrate when powered on and I believe it is the reason for noise.

wally兄,我睇完上面嘅相片仍然有啲唔清楚,嗰把新裝嘅风扇一边用被鋸短嘅铁架支持住,但凤扇另一边是如何支持呢？有冇考慮用支架盛起风扇及新风扇與舊風扇嘅馬力是否一樣？

There is no support made at the top of the fan. I have considered it before. The best solution is to mount the top with the condenser, but I do not have short screw in my tools box. Also I am too lazy and I found no problem at all in my case so I just skip it. The screw used to mount the fan should be thick enough (I use 1/4")

As I mentioned in the post the fan should be tested after replacement to make sure the operation is smooth.

I have bought some metal steel but as you can see there is not much space in the chiller.

This is really a problem. From the original fan there is no information available, so just buy the biggest possible fan that can fit. Very sure now the power of the new fan is lower than original as running time increased, but with lower noise it is worth.

請問你部機係改完之後同未改前既制冷時間有無大分別！
另外，呢隻機係咪當你set26度佢要等水溫上到28度先著機，去到26度就停機！
唔該！

Billysmw,

The running time is extended to 40 minutes from 30 minutes, when the set temp is 26, room temp is 28C, tank size 400L. A stronger fan with same size will do better, but the one I use is the only one I can find in Yuen Long. You can check RS Components (http://www.rswww.com.hk) for other fans.

You are right that this chiller has a 2C "delay". But on the thermometer in tank it shows 1C only.

千祈咪改細把散熱扇,除非肯定風量不變,原本把扇應該已計埋出入風柵口,散熱coil嘅風阻,有啲風扇種類只適應free air delivery(只能克服很低風阻)
散熱不足的後果::::::::::::令冷凝壓力Condensing Pressure升高,
制冷能力下降之餘.......嚴重者令部機high cut
長期運行會令壓縮機compressor負荷過重......短命咗

你嘅推論正確,但可用以下方法揀把大風的风扇:
1.尺寸大的但轉數RPM低啲.(RPM越高越嘈)风扇直徑越大,風量越大
2.運行電流越高,风量越大,但要裝好後以電流表量度為準,不能只看label,
3最準用風量表量度,我有呀
重有,牛頭角X達的石同珊瑚砂正唔正,佢賣嘅日新水冷好定海利好呢?
但我最鐘意另一篇文章講嘅韓国fish cooler 分體式水冷機,正正正
邊度有得賣呢?

請問各位, 如要安裝可變電阻來調教風扇轉速, 應裝設於那條電線中間.

You are very true that 千祈咪改細把散熱扇,除非肯定風量不變. Unfortunately my wife give me only 2 choices only, one is drop the chiller

. But I think the running time increased from 30 to 40 minute is acceptable. What is your comment?

I have not checked the run current of the compressor before and after modification so I do not know how much increase in the discharge pressure.

Hi Alextkk,

Make sure your "可變電阻" is designed for motor, not light. Normally it should be connected to "live" line.

Hi POL159 ,

Based on your finding you can run the chiller with the case, but make air channel to avoid hot air recirculate into the chiller.
