24" tank really is not a lot of room for too many fishes. You have to bear in mind that marine fishes are very territorial. That means, they would fight, or even die, if you keep too many of them. It applies to almost all species. Too many fishes will also need very frequent water change, more powerful skimmer, and the more you keep the more will cost you in terms of time and money. There are many types of fishes: large angels, dwarf angels, bennies, gobies, clown ..... etc. 6 fishes is really around the max your tank can take. Buy only small fishes is highly recommended. My suggestions is perhaps 2 small clowns, 1 to 2 small dwarf angelfishes, and two other small fishes. If you decided to buy large angel, I would only recommend you to buy one not more than 3" in size. Cannot exactly tell you what to buy because buying fish is a personal preference kind of thing and you don't want to keep fishes that other people ask you to buy. But you have to face the fact that many fishes are difficult to keep and it is a matter of trial and error for you in the initial stage. After maybe several years in the hobby you will know how to avoid fishes that you learnt are difficult. This is a stage that most of us have gone through. After awhile, a lot of people become addicted and buy a lot of fishes. Because HK people like very vibrant 熱鬧 looking of their tank. But the more fishes the more trouble. This is also an easy-to-keep fish: 籃吊
