Hi Wankel,

I've two doctor shrimps in my 250L tank with LR, together with some clown and dwarf angels. Around two weeks ago, one of the doctor shrimps was pregnant and yesterday night after the light went off, it releases hundreds of larvae into the tank. All the larvae disappear this morning and I think they were eaten by the fishes.

I've the following questions,
1. I have a 50L hospital tank, is it possible to raise the larvae if I let the pregnant shrimp breed alone in the tank?
2. What food should I offer to the larvae?
3. Do the shrimp pregnant frequently?
4. Any other special environmental factors required for raising these baby shrimps?

DD,

1) yes, U have take away the mother right after the baby born, she will forget they are her baby around 15 mins. And the Water Qly have to be stable.

2) life aglea or instant aglea, then baby brine shrimp then adult braine shrimp

3) yes, within 7 day after they brother bron.

4)I am also try and running, At this moment, I only can keep and have those baby from state 1 to state 5. still can not success yes.

Hi iczfirz ,

So far I am uploading pictures to the library bit by bit. So far, all the nudibrand pictures were from me, and some angelfishes).

Actually, only around 1 in several pictures are good looking and many are awkful. It is quite difficult to take pictures uw because human beings are the slowest animal there and that the current will drift you here and there. The fishes will not sit tight for you as well.

Another problem is exposure. Most of the things UW looks 30% bigger so it is very hard to correctly measure the distant between you and the object. DC are slow in focusing and takes even longer to take anything closer than 1m. But if you take picture of an object 5 meters away, even flash may not bring out the color of the fish.
