I am a newbie for saltfish. I got some trouble, any of u can help me pls. At the beginning of Jan, 2003. My tank had 1 新娘, 1 黃魔, 1 火鳥, 1 妞紋古B, 1 拳師蝦, 1 古B for clean up my sand bed. All of them were healthy and eat properly. I feed them 3 times per week Mon, Thurs and Sat. There are 5 live rocks to provide shelters for those shy fish to hide up or sleep at night. Before Lunar new year,I saw many 啡苔, 紅苔 and Green 苔 on the live rocks so i bought 1 食苔古B to eat them all. It work great.
However the strange thing started. First is my 拳師蝦 died during lunar new year, after that is the 火鳥. then is the 古B. First come into my mind is fish may die coz my tank is not that old enough, like around 6 months only. Then I bought 1 古B back coz it really did a great job about my sand bed. After 2 days , it died. Before it gone, it eat sand. look so health. But the 食苔古B attack it and left some red part on that 古B's body.
At that moment I thought I found the murder and caught 食苔古B out and put it into the jail. I made a plactic jail inside my tank. Then I bought 3 more 火鳥 and 1 more 古B into my tank. Those newcomers are good in health and eat properly. Last Satuarday the 古B died and the 苔 start grown up. So I set the 食苔古B free. This morning I woke up and found out 2 火鳥 died. They died like the 古B, all fins lost, back one, both side and the tail.
I am really want to know is 食苔古B kill them all or there is the other hidden murder? like 新娘, 黃魔? Also I dont know what should I do next. Kill that 食苔古B or ..... please help. |
