用蒜頭liquid防白點，等魚魚食了就唔生白點。

我係自己做啊.
用一個蒜頭, 整開D皮.
放人攪拌機, 放入少少水. 開制
之後就倒D汁出來.
我就放係用完洗乾既測試水的小樽.
每日滴二滴落個缸度.
及滴二滴係D乾糧度.
現在都係第1日. 唔知效果係米真係得.
遲D會再報告. 其實咁樣做會唔會殺埋D好菌呢?
個埋DPH 會唔會降低? 因為我諗蒜頭都應該係酸性. 對嗎?

可惜. 最後一條魚. 人字碟都死埋(生白點). 可能太遲.
明天再去買條魔試下水先. 希望D蒜頭汁掂啦.

Hi FranNg,

Does the garlic make your tank smelly and oily?

Some literature did say it work, have a read if you are interested.

BTW, is your tank a new one? If so, don't rush in about adding fish, wait and be patient. Have u got testers for NH3, NO2 and NO3. Make sure they are all within limits, meaning, your tank is mature, before you buy too many fishes, esp. butterflies and angels.

Good luck and enjoy this hobby, at the same time, pls. look after your wallet and our ocean as well. I guess no one wants to see anything extinct simply becoz. we kill too many of them. Sorry for preaching!

Yes you're right. Actually I think my tank is not mature now. So I will not add the fish now until the tank is mature. I won't my fish to get any sick but the ICH is very trouble on my tank. So now my tank is empty no fish and now I put a heavy mechinie hope can kill the ICH. After that rebuild the N-Cycle until the tank is stable then I will buy a cheap fish to test.
I check the PH, NH3, NO2, NO3, KH, DO everyday.

Hi Franng,

So happy to know that some of us is rational enough and know what he is doing. Make sure you wait, I'd say the safest is 4 wks with room temp (warmer to expedite the life cycle) to kill all possible free living ich tomites. After that, probably you would like to change water and then remove all residual medication by activated carbon or Cu remover if you are using copper.

Add some fish food and let it decompose, observe the increase in NH3 and then NO2 and then NO3, at the end, if you have zero NH3 and NO2 and reasonable NO3, that's the right time for you to add fish, 1 or 2 at a time for the bacteria to build up to cope with the increase bio load. Keep monitoring all the parameters, say once every 2 days or 3 days and until you are happy that the bacteria colony has multiplied. Buy more fish if you want.

For the time being, since you have no fish, I won't bother about checking all those parameters you mentioned, save some $$$ for fish.

LIVE FISH IS NOT NECESSARY TO START THE NITROGEN CYCLE, ALL YOU NEED IS AMMONIA AND BACTERIA

我前日買O左條藍魔.
但係唔食野.
之後我將D蒜汁加埋D乾糧比佢地食.
一落個藍魔立即爭住食.
我諗落O左蒜汁既糧會比較引起D魚食慾.
至於到現在都未見D魚有白點.

藍魔係生命力好強....我之前d 魚白點死晒...但佢一d 事都冇....所以我覺得唔係太可以用佢黎作準.....用黎開缸就絕對OK !!!
