In Hong Kong , all socket outlets are protected by RCCBs (漏電保護器) by electrical ordinance. If you connect a protective conductor (水線) between tank and socket outlet , the RCCB will be tripped in case of earth fault, and all electrical supply from socket outlets will be suspended. If no one is ware of the suspension, then your tank will run out of oxygen and you lovely fishes will die. Thereofre, never use 水線.
