于 2003-01-24 10:27        Step 1 – buy 10” 80mm water pipe and 80mm I-joint from metal shop Step 2 – buy a normal 34mm plastic pipe from fish street (around 8-10 inch) Step 3 – get some plastic ring for shielding purpose Step 4 – plug in the 80mm I-joint to the AZOO skimmer with plastic ring Step 5 – plug in the 10” 80mm water pipe to the I-joint Step 6 – put the skimmer cup to the top of water pipe with plastic ring Remarks : A. AZOO skimmer diameter is 80mm, thus it is very fit for 80mm water pipe. B. The more powerful water pump you have, the longer 80mm water pipe you can extend. For example, in my case, I am using 4000L/hr pump for 10 inch extension. C. The green 34mm plastic pipe is to increase the pressure on water outlet. I am using around 8 inch in my case. D. Total cost is around HK$40. I think it can be comparable to Jetstream 100 performance. E. No glue has been used in whole DIY, so you can resume to a normal AZOO skimmer. Beginner Tak
