My French should be the same shipment with your french, I bought it about 1 month ago in Yat Wong too. I didn't add any medicine or any treatment to this fish because I want to give up this fish at the beginning. (Someone told me Brazil's french is not easy to keep)
But After 3-4 weeks, the fish getting well by herself and start to fight other fish. I think she will fully recover by herself.
Remember I told you before, my fish's case is not as serious as your fish.
Maybe you should find other solution to save your fish, I just want to share my experience to you.
Also, I think it is a common sick for most of the angel fish.
