Hi FranNg,

Does the garlic make your tank smelly and oily?

Some literature did say it work, have a read if you are interested.

BTW, is your tank a new one? If so, don't rush in about adding fish, wait and be patient. Have u got testers for NH3, NO2 and NO3. Make sure they are all within limits, meaning, your tank is mature, before you buy too many fishes, esp. butterflies and angels.

Good luck and enjoy this hobby, at the same time, pls. look after your wallet and our ocean as well. I guess no one wants to see anything extinct simply becoz. we kill too many of them. Sorry for preaching!
