I am new in saltfish, if we do not have to concern about NO3, how about NO2? I have a new tank, 3 weeks with 8 small fishes. I checked NO2 & NO3 tonight, both at very high level, extremely RED!! What should I do? Please share your valuable experience. Thanks!!


I would suggest you to use the search function to search about the completion of N-cycle and read throgh the "Guide for the Beginners of LC".

Normally, it would take about 40 days for the completion of the N-cycle and you should be patient during this period of time.
