Hi everybody:
I have a custom made tank size 60'x30'x30' (700L) and use trickle filter size (30'x18'). which is for fish and coral.
The trickle filter using filter moss, bio ball and bio ring (from japan) as filter media, and using azoo brand protein skimmer, marco brand no3 reducer, knop brand calcium reactor, and azoo 40watts uv light.
Then using two pump pump the water back to the main tank, one is 60L per minute, and one is 110L per minute.( it was claim by the manufactory, they are sanso brand and from japan) the big one is conect to the chiller and blow from the surface and running 24 hrs and the small one is blow on the surface of the crash coral and running from 9pm to 8 am.
In the main tank, i have put under grave filter under the crash coral (2 inch thick) with a pump sucking and blow back to the main tank.
I using FL for lighting, using 2 40 watts 20,000k(coral reef from usa), 1 40 watts 10,000k, and 3 blue 30 watts.
The tank have been set up and running for six month, salt is using deep ocean brand. it have a local made chiller to cool the water, the water temp. at 26~27c.
I can see the water is not clear and clean, I can see the dirty thing circulate in the main tank for a long time, but then again there are a lot of dirt lay in the filter, after the filter moss (4 ~ 5 inch thick)and those bio ball and bio ring.
now the problem are, fish are die one by one, not fighting each other, eating well, but hide under the rock, not active, some were swimming from side to side, and seem breathing very fast . The coral also die slownly.
please help!
