hi all.
i now have a 18"(L)x11"(D)x16"(H) tank and
want to set up as a nano tank.(no fish)
i have some puzzles and want you all advise
1. i have on list the following creatures and wonder whether they are all compatible:
i: 醫生蝦/火燄蝦/葵蝦/樂隊蝦
ii 紫點葵/奶嘴葵/公主葵
iii 忸紋草/偍子草/羽毛草
iv 管虫
v 海馬
vi 天線goby
vii 葵蟹
since i dont want to have another chiller,
no coral is on list.
(ca200 is working for 280L FOT already)
temperature is expected to be 30/31C.
does it work?
2. is live rock necessary for keeping the above creatures? (some hobbists suggested using volcanic rock instead. i ve no idea about volcanic rock)
3. i visited amazon last week and saw some sorts of sand(fine size and cost >$2xx for each pack).
is it a good idea using such kind of sand or
using those $10/pack in fishstreet?
4. a protein skimmer seems to be a need (to play safe) for such a "mini" tank.
i consider an high priced (say, Prizm $680) or
a low-end(say, $35 AA) is good enough.
please advice.
