火燒腰（魚街叫【番簡】），身體上黏膜有毒性。類似品種有包公。本港水域也有出產。

有毒? 但係佢又冇影響到的葵同其他魚喎.................
有冇人想要呀? 佢要食生魚或蝦, 好煩.....
想養珊瑚蝦都唔得............一定趙埋.....

牠的毒性是防禦性質的，基本上，牠的食性和斑差不多，蝦當然不會放過。
