There are many accessories that you need to buy afterward as well i.e. battery charger, spare battery, extra ram card, carrying case. You can take the camera to the water (i.e. summer) for few DCs like Canon, Olympus, Sony I just accompanied a friend of mine yesterday to buy a 水貨DC yesterday. He bought a Canon S30 for HK$3800 including S30, a spare proprietary battery, an extra 128Mb Compact Flash. Check this web page out, they have a lot of special review on digital cameras.
