Sorry i don't know this topic put in where is true,so i put in here sin:)Sorry again!!

:) This is my DIY mini sump,Size about 6"high & 10"width,Me put it in my tank's top,because don't worry water full,DIY this sump about use $100 to buy 400L/h pump,many Coral bone & box,me buy new fish go home.i will put it into this DIY mini sump sleep one night sin,next day put the new fish in my tank :kissing: ,Me not afraid Bioload not engouh this porlbem lo :D

You please tell us more details of your personal design plastic filter !
it seems looks like and function like the fresh water on top filter ?
we can buy one in FS ! right ? which is around $100 (incl pump) !
your bottom of sump is fully dead water and how can you make the water flow at the bottom layer of your sump ?
It seems like not ready useful !

i think your design not so good wo. all water only passing on the top layer.

I think Ko san use this only for isolating the new fish and let fish to adapted to the new water, not for filtering water. Am I right?

Maybe he don like to put ugly "sau Kee" into his tank....:P:P

你諗得太多了。這個只是上部過濾器（主要養菌），而eddi指出水流只經表面，未必能達到理想效果。
