濃鹽水效果，同浸淡水一樣用改變慘透壓殺蟲，對單殖吸蟲，如飛碟蟲有用，但科學實驗證明過對白點作用唔大。

而文中另所及銅療法，今時今日重用琉酸銅，就比較落後，因為低毒螯合、絡合銅藥已面世好耐。
