For UGF, some recommend it while some don't. It depends on your own choice. However, UGF is good in generating becteria in a short time but will be blocked in longer term. | |

Do some intensive research before you buy anything. Most of the stuff the shopkeeper recommends to you are not really essential. In the long run, when you really find interests in the hobby, the 20" tank can be converted into a quarantine tank for new fish. Welcome to the hobby. | |
