Posted by: Gundaman Posted on: 2002-03-28 13:03 Thanks Eddi for your fast response. I am also thinking of this wall. Will 60" too large?

Do you think 48" is better? (In terms of setup cost, maintenance cost and general outlook of the interior) Thanks. :):D

Posted by: Gundaman Posted on: 2002-03-28 20:09 Hi, Here's the layout of my home. :) Indeed, I intended to follow the plan C, because it's easy to perform water change; it doesn't block the entrance area; more beautiful, etc. KK, is your tank situated at the "red color's ###### area"? Any idea? Is 48" better than 60"? I always planning on the side of the interior outlook, rather than how many (large) fishes I can keep. Thank you. :)

Posted by: fai Posted on: 2002-03-28 22:01 hi Gundaman You should place your tank at location 'B', because the wall between the dinner room and the kitchen is a core wall / structural wall that can withstand haevy load, whereas the wall ( location C) between the toilet and the dinner is only a partition that is very weak. Think carefully. Best Regards. Fai

Posted by: jay Posted on: 2002-03-28 22:03 to gundaman, my flat is identical with yours. i place my 36W"x18D"x30H" at plan c area (before the turn over to corridor) i wonder , if you have a 60" tank, how do you plan for your chiller i am complained by family about the hot air generated from TECO 220 besides, waterchange is an issue, you better plan before go ahead. perhaps , some built-in piping is necessary during decoration. though 20" is not perfect,(i want 24") i understand there is limitation, (due to limited space and good looking for the flat) that is why i still want to have a bigger house..kidding. perhaps it is the dream of many fellow hobbists...ha

Posted by: Gundaman Posted on: 2002-03-28 22:58 I have my limitations too...:( :( :( «Î¥øÓ¯«Âdø¥i¥H¹ï¦íÓ³½¬û(¯«Âdn¦V¦íÓ¤jªù¤f), so KK's choice and Plan A are not that feasible. Plan C may be my final choice. Thanks for your involvement and different voices. :)
