香港研發微波水消毒系統

香港生產力促進局現正研發一套高效能和可持久使用的微波消毒技術，消滅魚缸水中的細菌，預計於3個月後推出。新科技原理是同時利用微波的穿透力和紫外線，消滅魚缸水內的細菌。這技術的特點是消毒效能不會因為水的清澈度降低而受影響，可在8分鐘內去除97%細菌，並可永久使用。
現今常見的消毒系統當中，紫外線輻射、和紫外線輻射加二氧化鈦的光催化技術，都是利用紫外線殺菌，但兩者的紫外光燈都會因老化而逐漸失效，加上前者的效能易受水中懸浮物影響，而後者則需要定期更新或更換光催化劑。所以兩者的效能和經濟原則都不及微波消毒。

HKPC覆左個電郵比我，睇黎想買都重要等。
睇下有無魚友做廠，可以研究下將佢響觀賞魚領域商品化，我覺得殺菌效能可以唔受水既清澈度影響，又長期唔使換UV光管既殺菌機，應該幾有市場。

The system is effective in removing bacteria in the fish tank. Unfortunately we have not identified a manufacturer to commercialize the product yet. Hence further research on this system was suspended.
