全球最大　「珊瑚三角」世紀前消失

保育團體WWF：
位於印尼的Bunaken Island海底的「珊瑚三角」（Coral Triangle)，是全球面積最大的珊瑚區，被視為是海底的「亞馬遜森林」。但專家警告，全球暖化等問題令珊瑚區受到嚴重破壞，將於本世紀前消失。珊瑚三角總面積達570萬平方公里；珊瑚礁佔全球33%，珊瑚物種佔全球76%，珊瑚礁魚類佔全球37%，還有全球面積最廣的紅樹林區。

報告警告，珊瑚三角的毀滅將使此區域內的糧食減產80%，威脅1億多人的生計

What will you as a Hong Kong coral keeper do?
a. nothing.
b. Collect more coral in your aquarium.
c. Do your part to stop global warming.

I know it's tempting to choose b, as is for me. But than I will also chose c.
You can do that by eating less meat(beef), use more public transport, recycle or simply switch off your light!

Please give your opinion and suggestion and I wish everyone in HK are responsible reefer.

引出另一問題, 有人仕引述海產業研究報告指因為人類過份使用抗生素而令海水已受抗生素污染並出現抗藥性之同時, 認為珊瑚魚愛好者的抗生素使用與海水受抗生素污染問題無甚關係, 並推介新種抗生素作治魚用。

大家的意見選擇是甚[$#40637] ? :

a/ 同意並嘗試新種抗生素
b/ 不同意並停用抗生素
c/ 無意見, 只跟從推介使用藥物
d/ 多作了解魚病徵後使用合適藥物(包括抗生素)
e/ 放棄飼養珊瑚魚

Assuming 抗生素 used for fish in our aquarium since it is most relevant.
I think the best way is to d/ 多作了解魚病徵後使用合適藥物(包括抗生素) .
On top of that, we should NEVER RELEASE FISH/CORAL from our aquarium to the wild.

Reason is that lets say the fish or a drop of water from your tank is infected by a 抗藥性bacteria or parasite or foreign parasite. It will spread to Hong Kong area .

Sometimes we do bad deed with a good intension.
We want to grow a piece of coral but killed the reef.
