Posted by: LeoLee Posted on: 2007-09-11 10:57 各位魚友, 上星期4,我養了1年半的籃魔突然顏色很鮮,並且狂性大發,打死了2條[$#23453]石. 星期6發現石底有卵,並且2條魚論流看管. 是否應移往其他缸. Thanks Leo Lee

Posted by: lammark Posted on: 2007-09-11 22:20 想繁殖，將卵移入小缸較好，因為大魚會吃魚卵及出生的幼體。出生後，就可以自行孵豐年蝦卵，或者用急凍豐年蝦幼體餵食。

In general, we fish keepers will not raise the fish from eggs but just let it became part of the food chain in our tank. This is due to the hugh amount of cost and certain difficulties involved. The first critical part is to get the baby fish to feed after it's hatching!! Many marine fish has been known hard to keep is almost due to it's feeding habit change from nature to actificial. Many can not cope with the adaptation of our today's available fish food!

In your case, I do agree w/Lammark suggestion on isolated both parent fishes and eggs. If the eggs ever hatched, then you try the food (see attached photo). They are tiny plankton (much small than 豐年蝦幼體). Besides, the available 豐年蝦幼體 at FS can not disolve and break away from it's cube shape whereas the plankton are floating around after a drop or two into the water. Pls noted regular water changes is necessary because of the pollution occurs after feeding and the tiny hatched fishes will have great chances in catching any kind of diease which in the end causing a complete loss !!
