This is my first 滴漏 FOT Tank, it really took me a long time to setup. Now I have room for little fish.

D假珊瑚, 有D是馬氏出品, 如背板. 其他是在別的地方買或多年搜集回來的. 背板上的假珊瑚位置是自已砌出來.

背板=HK$ 200
D假珊瑚=HK$ XXX (忘記了!)

雖然缸大魚細，但五顏六色，加上造景、燈光，很有深海feel ，不像一般密質密的海鮮缸式fot 。

基仔: Not too many fishes, but continue looking for more as time goes. The tank was setup only 3 months and need to be slowly adding the fish and avoid over loading vs N-cycle.

Lord,Darth Bane: Like most HK people, I am also like 高密度飼養. Just lack of $$$$ !! :D :D

If u added a high power air pump for the air in-let, it seems to be fine on mine, the skim out water is black color.

Oceanshores17, I don't think the air filter is any use for me. Just the sales people told me that it can reduce noise at the air-intake.

通常呢[$#21874]佈景都係空芯，可以將[$#21874]頭藏倒響入面，但亦因為空芯既問題，好容易形成死流及藏垃圾既問題•••••

Lets help 法法 for his sales. I see my jetskim 150 placed in first compartment of sump while the BM150 placed in 2nd compartment of my sump (I knew it is an unfair competiton!! but I don't care) The BM150 out gun the jetskim and more skimates fro BM 150.

Sometimes, keeping a fish to alive in our tank is really based on luck. This Mooris idol I bought from FS at $40 and it eat anything like brine shrimps, dry flake food and even the shit of other fish. So more or less, we need lucks.

大B美麗蝶, eat everything and grow fast. 大B like both dry & frozen food. It was 1.5" bought from 日旺 around mid of May. After introduce into my tank, it has ICK for one month but still eat a lot. Eventually, after copper treatment and bought the water cooler and set at 28 degree C. Then it recovering and now grow to 2.5"!!

細B美麗蝶, only eat frozen food, it was bigger then 大B when purchase but because of it's picky feeding habit. Now is became smaller!! But still it now growth to 2". It also purchase from 日旺 at mid of May and was 1.8". It share the same illness of ICK as 大B when it introduce into my tank and was recovered. Both butterfly are very gentle and non-aggressive. IT was always bully by other smaller butterfly!!

This is kill doc., it survived in the tank for over 6 months with TDC and copper treatment for ICK and fungus outbreak. Bought at 1.8" and now growth just over 2". Eat eat anything even the hair of my arm when cleaning. It has 2 criminal records on murder 2 of my 火鳥!

Purple Queen is a very difficult to keep! I had 3 pcs in the tank that only feed on frozen food. It will be very good looking if anyone can keep a dozen or more for spectacular display. They can only survive w/non aggressive tankmates. It is a pitty that my tank will be remove and disable in 2 months or otherwise, I will buy more! Maybe another time!

Tiny little fish at 0.6" ! The same small fish that I had was an French angel until it grows to hand size. Don't know about this one!! :o)

You are right about the size of my 蝴蝶B is being too small and it seems to be difficult to feed!! :( But I only like small fishes!

Hi ZZ,

These butterflies is very pretty, is it HK butterfly? But it does not seems like it?? The head white band is curved and the lines on it's body seems diagonal?? What is it?? I totally agree with you if butterflies in pair are far more attractive than a single butterfly. From books, I learn butterfly form pair when they grow larger and does not matter if it is a pair of male & female or male & male or female & female. They could be gay!! :D. That is why I have bought 2 美麗蝶 and see if they can form pair when older. So far they fright each others!! Maybe they are still young!! I don't know but hoping to see them in pair if both buterflies can live that long!

Hi zz,

Certainly the small butterflies are charming, I always like those in between 1.5" to 2" in length. not only they are realtively easy to feed and they are so cute.:D The 橙尾箭 is very pretty. But I still like those "heart shape" butterflies more :D.

For your tank is so deep, if setup with live rock or dead rocks and built a slope (like the reef drop off) at the rare of your tank. Put some 馬氏仿珊瑚. With a pair of 5" to 6" butterfly + 30 to 40 pcs of colorful 寶石 + some 魔. The tank would be so beautful and looks very nature like a reef. Acutally, I want to setup my tank like that but is it not deep enough and the backplate gave me problems!!

Like I said, if my 美麗蝶 ever grow any larger than 3" and if it still live and eat anything (your basic requirement) then I will remove it and put into your tank. :D

其實我養魚的方向,用生物石最岩:)
不過生物石缸,在加魚上會比較困難,傷亡也會高!
所以老鬼一直都不採用,馬氏珊瑚石,真的幾好的,又環保,可惜佢都結業了,
想買都買吾到啦.........,而且要砌得靚馬氏珊瑚,要有一個好的基座,否則怎砌都
吾靚,如果用佢本來的佈景板,好易會出事,因背後有死位.....

金蝴蝶是中仙的bb,開定左口,要養活應不是大難,
如果玩侏儒仙仔,難度會高好多..........
呢條仙仔,我玩了好幾條先叫做暫時玩得耐些:P

Many years ago, I use LR for FOT and soon all kind of troubles apear until I added copper to cure the fish while LR became DR (Dead Rock). But I still think DR is pretty for decoration and far more natural than using dead coral. You could cure the LR w/fresh water + copper before using it into the FOT. It save you from troubles. I agreed the 馬氏佈景板 create dead flow zone which is why I gave up mine. I am also thinking to put some DR at the back of my tank and add some 細假件珊瑚 and make it looks like a drop-off of a reef. My only concern is that any dead fish inside it will be difficult to take out!!

Your dwarf angel is nice but I heard that this species is fairy aggressive among it's kind?! That means you can only keep one. Maybe in your gigantic tank can keep a few more pcs without any frighting:D

zz兄, 你個缸點樣呢?我加左呢條(亞媽記) 豹紋蝶就乃野,帶入新ge白點!!好在D魚條條都仲搶口:)有排都無可能加新野. 如有機會, 或會試斜虎紋.現時喜愛搜羅2"以下紅海金蝶(in season),2"或以下黑丁(never seem in 2" in length),2"或以下索碟(Rarely seems these days)+2"或以下藍線蝶(Out of season).

我個缸行左兩個多月了,大至都幾好,還有少許地方要作改善!
魚仔都得心應手,setup過後,個缸已比我回復悉日的信心了,
d魚仔個態每日都向上升,佢地開心我又開心........:D
我都在亞媽記,買了條豹紋蝶,不過佢好刻意地避開我餵佢食d魚糧,
真系比佢激死:~)
另又買了條橙箭,但只吃蝦乾!
你那條吃野未?
我都執了條一寸左右的太陽蝶,太陽仔都幾攪野,
佢淨系食bits,其他糧視而不見,連蠂魚至愛豐年蝦都不采...吹脹B)
遲些影d相你看看;)

神仙兄,多謝祝幅. 印尼金蝶係難養的蝶魚品種 (我個人的睇法), 魚本身體質不佳,其適應能力低(先天), 印尼出口銷售業者處理方式差(後天). 引致存活率降低!! (個人意見)揀條合適2"以下強壯好態o既. **在正常好態下, 沒有明顯出現黑印, 黑印可能代表條魚有病,衰弱,受壓, 睡眠.** + 好彩

我都試過幾條1.5" ~2.5"!!現在加蝶魚, 馬上藥浴. 我條印尼金蝶新買時.醫了10天. 因出現HEAD WORMS.:)

你都在亞媽記,買左呀:D 我條豹紋蝶系1.4"細魚, 已開口吃乾糧+生口野. 我條一寸左右的太陽蝶就只吃生口野+紫菜. 我好蝶都喜愛吃紫菜. 我個人的睇法, 一條蝶搶食, 有機會引其他開口.慢慢黎!!

你D相??不如....過來你家, 慢慢睇仲好啦:P

蝶魚有些死硬派,佢話過吾吃就吾吃:(
而家我反而將花在佢地開口的時間,轉移花在買魚時攪佢地,
樂趣還大好多呢:P
印尼金蝶,我好喜歡的,我近排都在留意有冇些你所講的好態,
可惜集中營無一條攪得落手啊:})

印尼金蝶番哩, 真係馬上要藥浴.唔裡3,7,21.但不可行1010.
條魚強壯冇病, 才開口. 可能我喜歡魚仔, 引佢地開口用水蝨後轉用豐年蝦
我條印尼金蝶只食生泠[$#22050]!!:!(

My fish's diet consist of dry foods, frozen food and sea weeds. Some butterfly fish eat everything, some of them only eat frozen food + sea weeds and some just eat frozen food. I feed the fishes with all kind of above mentioned food twice a day.:P

始終爆了都系有風險:(,不過餵了幾日藥,爆口沒有惡化,
總萛放了一點心,希望快些好番啦:})

印度洋美麗蝶,真系好耐好耐無返了,不過和太平洋美麗相比,我覺得差了少許,
最差當然是索蝶啦,不過三兄弟都是這麼難養,要儲齊佢地幾兄弟,真系要隨綠了,

有時真系吾明,美麗蝶怎麼會這麼難開口,
在潛水的時候,看見牠只在泥面上找東西吃,
一條食垃圾的魚,到了我們的魚缸,怎麼會這樣嘴刁:}):}):})

絕對同意你的看法,要養這些寶石真難,要養一群仲更加難,
牠比起養蝶魚某程度真是更難,
我以前養魚種類的空間十分窄,好多魚的品種都沒有去試養,
寶石都是這時候,才叫正式地去試養,真有點慚愧|)

在海洋世界的寶石,真是很美,

幾年來都是這個缸,沒有轉魚缸,不過在養魚思維上有了很大的改變,
正在和好友一同去摸索中:)

結果昨日義賣要送佢出境現才可冇事 :D

請問幾位高人知唔知係典解呢??

教??係度邊有資格噃. :I
我缸約300餘 L,我每日或隔日換15L一桶水,
同間中加少少海水素咋.
近排則換加隻 Fish Solution 試試.
就算加埋要換棉都可以好快手,
而變化較少我想可以穩定D囉. :D:D:D

近才有此現象.雖灰地位不及大湯,
但追小法之勢仍是2佬本色.
不過問題現已解決了,

上星期六,六時左右,剛返了細條的紅尾珠蝶,大約1寸半幾靚下!!
我呢條就風回路轉了,開口又收口跟住又開返口,真系比佢吹脹:!(xx(|):~)

I mean "開口食", my chinese typing is so slow!!

I used frozen always and don't like live food. It is risky on live food and could introduce bacteria to fishes.

Yes, 係水螆 . 所以太陽蝶同藍印蝶不是人人合適養, 條魚對水質如 no3水平 提升. 條魚會收口. 所以keep住水質好最重要.但生泠[$#22050]係較容易導致水質惡化

所以要:

1)濾水系統經常要定期升cup
或
2)養細條的魚
或
3)養小D魚

最近好煩惱,先後加了四條仙仔,第二日便死了,
死因不明,無表面傷痕,落缸時沒有舊魚挑戰,

前天多彩加火焰,

Dear C Hing & friends,

It is about time to end my small artifical reef as I am lack of time to look after my fishes. Many of the fishes are sold to other C hing and wsih them luck.

After all these years of fish keeping. it was a good fun and always learning more from other C Hing. Well, as I am moving to China and becaming a local Chinese in Shenzhen. I am going to miss all the fun in fish shopping, chatting w/fish friends etc.

Maybe one day to return and keeping more exotic species.:P
