Hi everybody,
[$nbsp][$nbsp][$nbsp]how to reduce PH value, cos PH value in my tank also measured at 8.7 to 8.8 .........

治標既方法係加 "ph調低液", 但係記得睇清楚說明書至好用.

多數ph都係有少無多,你d水質好有可能有問題

I had an experience before that I use the Tetra pH test kit (which was given by my friend and bought about a year before) to test my tank's water. The result was 8.6 or over :O) Then, I used a electronic pH pen to check it again, the result was 8.1~8.2. I used the test kit to check again one week later and the result remained 8.6 or over. So I decided not to use it again.

That may be your case.

Therefore, it is better to buy another new pH test kits to test the water again before you take any action.

I alreay use a PH pen & PH test kit , they also measured at 8.7....Ai... don't know how to reduce it...

My tank was set up about 1 yr ,at first it 's normal, but don't know why last month PH suddenly increase so fast.....

are u using a calcium reactor??? u better check you KH too
BTW, if the pH is stable all the time, although 8.7 is marginal psyological pH...fish can still accomodate to it.....look close to fish reaction whenever you change the pH:)
